This 15-mile paved stretch of the Empire State Trail runs from Pawling (parking at 239 Route 292 in the Hamlet of Holmes) to Hopewell Depot (parking at 36 Railroad Avenue in Hopewell Junction) and crosses farms, wetlands, forests and ponds. It is generally flat and good for bicyclists, joggers and walkers of all abilities.
